Rained most of the day. Acres of mud. The guys made tracks. Someone dumped a load of gravel on the ramp and a bulldozer spent some time spreading it down the ramp, but where the gravel ends there are really deep ruts. From lunchtime until the rain quit around 3 there was no noise from the back. But after 3 two big trucks pulled up with a crane on treads and the scaffolding, and they’ve been spending the rest of the day messing with it.

The drill did a little drilling today, there’s a conical pile of fresh dirt, and then they moved the drill out of the way for the crane to come in. the terex is assembling it, as far as we can tell from here. When we passed they were standing around ankle deep in mud trying to put the crane together.
